Sportsperons struggling with injuries will be happy to know that a workshop on sports injury treatment through manual therapy is all set to be oganised by Utkal Karate School at its campus in Bhubaneswar on May 14.
Eminent manual therapist Professor Umasankar Mohanty will create awareness about free-hand method of treatment and also treat injured sportspersons in the day-long programme.
The Mangalore-based professor, who is also the president of the All India Manual Therapy Association, will be assisted in the workshop by Dr Prem Ranjan Ojha, Dr Debasish Mohapatra and Dr B N Pani.
The workshop will be preceded by a bone density test at the same place on May 13. The test is meant to help sportspersons know the strength of their bone.
